Here is the first part of the new story arc. Hope you stick around to the end.
Since fixing up a few things here and there, I am going to posting some Fan Art people have done for me and Guest Strips/Fan Art I have done for others in the webcomic communtiy. Here is some Fan Art of Milly that was done about 5 months ago from Shane McCarthy from one of my favorite comic Space Between. She is wearing a Team Galactic uniform from Pokemon as part of a cosplay art piece he did for the release of Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver, and you can see the full picture here. If you get a chance head on over and check out his comic. Shane has been a good friend since I started my comic giving me advice and encouragement. And seeing how most of my traffic comes from his website, do me a favor and see why he gets a ton more traffic.
I really need to up my frequency that I post blogs. I rarely do it and I think to keep people wanting to come back regulary, I need to post other than on comic update days. Now the question is, what do I blog about. There are many things that interest me that I could blog about. The question is, what is it that interests me that will have people actually want to read about. I could do movie reviews or just blog about current events. Heck, I could do both. I know that once I make the decision, it shouldn’t be that bad to keep it going. So if there are suggestions at what you would want to read about. Let me know.

Thanks to John Wigger from Zombie Roomie, he saw that I needed help and he offered it to me. One thing I have not been very pleased with are my word balloons. If I could actually hand draw them, it would be fine, but as you can see, I can’t. I sent over my artwork to John and he wrote me up a little tutorial on how to accomplish something I was lacking in. With the tools he has provided me, I hope to make my comic a little more pleasant looking. Here is the example John sent me. I am hoping to use the tutorial he sent me and re-do Monday’s comic and continue to do the comics in somewhat this manner.
While I was on my break I did some Fan Art for some people. One in particular was for John Wigger, the creator of Zombie Roomie. He had asked on Twitter if there was anyone who wanted to trade Fan Art, and with how much I love reading his hilarious comic, I had to give it a try. One of my favorite comics that he did had his characters John and George dressed up as Batman and the Joker, which you can see here. So when trying to come up with a pose to do, I ended up drawing them in a pose from Dark Knight Returns. I sent it to him hoping I did his character’s justice. Then lo and behold, he sent me his Fan Art of Z & G. My jaw dropped. He made my characters actually look good. I immediately put it as my wallpaper on my iPod and laptop. Click on picture for better view!
The date has been set for June 7 for when Z & G will resume being updated. I have already gotten a few strips drawn to create a bit of a buffer that will help me out in the long run. I also have decided to go back to just doing Z & G until I can get a decent size buffer. So Z & G will have a Monday and Friday update schedule. As I streamline my productivity of the strip, I am hoping to go up to three by next year. Another thing I plan on doing is an ad campaign on some selected sites, that and start putting up ad space on my site. Hopefully that will generate some more traffic while I work on getting the content of my comic more entertaining. The way I see it, this is my first comic I have ever attempted to do with practically no art classes under my belt, and as I continue to make my comic, it can only get better. For the mean time, I just want to thank everybody so far that has supported me and encouraged me to continue my comic. Thank you.
