I did panel 1 like that cause my daughter is into Full Metal Alchemist and I told her I would put in a manga/anime style panel for her. I didn’t want to go all manga or The Boss would have had white eyes and a tear coming down his cheek. As for the Crow, I wanted to quote the movie but I’m running a fairly family comic… so no cussing.
