Awhile back, I sent George Ford some Fan Art for his funny long running comic Addanac City that can be seen here. Not too long later, I got this gem in my email inbox. I first got to know of this comic through Bearman Cartoons, as where many great comics can be seen and conversations to be had. George’s comic was funny and I liked how different(in a good way) it was from your usual comics, since then, I have enjoyed his comic ever since.
To see my characters through the eyes of another cartoonist always blows my mind. You spend so much time with your characters, you tend to see them they way you have made them. Getting pieces like this remind me that character design is limitless. Anytime I get a piece of Fan art, I feel that it motivates me to continue to thrive in how I draw. Letting me know that there is no top level of art to be achieved but for you to keep going down that road and not stopping.
